Service · Feasibility Study

Find out if your idea will work — before you spend real money.

A fixed-price, fixed-scope study that tells you honestly whether your product can be built, how, at what cost and on what timeline — so your next decision is an informed one, not a gamble.

Who it's for

If you've asked yourself any of these

?

"Can this actually be made — or am I about to chase something impossible?"

?

"What will it realistically cost and how long will it take to develop?"

?

"What are the technical risks I can't see yet — and which one could sink it?"

A feasibility study answers all three in writing, early, while changing course is still cheap. It's the single smartest first spend on a new product — and it's designed to save you far more than it costs.

What you get

A feasibility report you can act on

Not a verbal "yeah, that should be fine" — a clear, written document you can use to make decisions, brief a team, or take to investors.

01

Technical risk analysis

The real engineering risks in your concept, ranked — and which ones need solving before anything else.

02

Technology & approach options

The viable ways to build it, with the trade-offs between them in plain terms.

03

Indicative cost, time & complexity

Honest ballpark figures for what developing it will take, so you can plan and budget.

04

A clear recommendation

A straight go / no-go / go-with-changes call — and a recommended development roadmap for the next steps.

How it works

Free intro call

You tell me the idea. I tell you honestly whether a feasibility study is the right next step, and confirm scope and price before anything starts.

2

The assessment

I dig into the concept — the engineering, the technology options, the manufacturing reality, the risks and the rough numbers. This is where the real work happens.

Walk-through & next steps

We go through the findings together so nothing's lost in translation — and, if it makes sense, map out how to take it forward.

Clear on both sides

What you need to start

  • An idea or concept — a description, a sketch, or a rough model. No finished design required.
  • A sense of what you want the product to do and who it's for.
  • That's genuinely it. If your idea is barely more than a thought, that's exactly what this is for.

What's included as standard

  • Two days of engineering time — 1.5 assessing, 0.5 writing it up.
  • The written feasibility report and a walk-through call.
  • Happy to work under an NDA — your idea stays yours.
  • Bigger or more complex ideas simply get a scoped, fixed quote up front — never a surprise bill.

Questions

Before you book

What if you find my idea isn't feasible?
Then it's the best £650 you'll spend. Finding out now — instead of after months of development or a tooling commitment — is the entire point. You'll still get the full report, the reasons why, and wherever possible alternative directions worth exploring.
Do I need drawings or a CAD model?
No. An idea, a description or a rough sketch is enough. If you do have designs, great — I'll factor them in, but they're not required.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, happily. Protecting your idea matters, and I'm glad to work under a mutual NDA before you share anything sensitive.
What if my idea needs more than two days to assess?
Some do. If that's the case, I'll tell you on the intro call and give you a fixed, scoped quote before any work starts — so you always know the price in advance.
What happens after the study?
That's your call. Many clients move into Concept & MVP Development or a phased product-development engagement — the study's roadmap makes scoping that straightforward. But there's no obligation: the report is yours to use however you like.
